I am currently working on a book titled Turvey's Corner 63050. This fictional town lies midway between the towns of my youth: High Ridge (63049) where I grew up, and House Springs (63051) where I attended church and high school.

Hank Under the Stars

Hank has left his boyhood home in Turvey's Corner, Missouri. Having hitch hiked all day, he now reclines against his backpack beneath the stars in a Vinita, Oklahoma pasture.

Cowboy Coffee

As Hank camped at Ransom Canyon east of Lubbock, Texas, he was surprised at the sight of a rider in Native American dress withdrawing from the top of the bluff behind where Hank had just broken camp.
